I do not understand how ants can find a hummingbird feeder hanging so far off the ground, but they do. This Perky Ant Guard is just what I needed. The ants used to swarm my hummingbird feeder but not since I've added this ant guard. Not a single ant haunts my feeder now. They swarm below, apparently where the feeder drips small amounts of sugar water.
Just wish the ant guard was just a little more aesthetically pleasing. If they could make it in a metal painted black to match my shepherd's hook, that would be better. The green plastic look just doesn't work for me, but the hummingbirds don't care. |

| Prior to using this, had a BIG issue with ants getting into the hummingbird feeders. Once we used the ant guards, ZERO (0) problems. Awesome product !! And this is from my father-in-law who has feed hummingbirds for over 50 years! |

| Tried everything to keep ants off of my hummingbird feeders - nothing worked. So, I thought I'd give this a try. Have not seen one ant since hanging this up. Definitely works and worth the price. |
