Environmentally Friendly and Easy to AssembleWith the Scotts 2000-20 Classic Push Reel Lawnmower, you not only save yourself the expense of purchasing gasoline, but you also decrease your carbon footprint by eliminating the pollution created by a gas mower. Powered by you, this mower has no complicated engine components to deal with and assembles with no tools required, so you can be ready to cut the grass within minutes of receiving your new lawnmower.
Wider Cutting Width Reduces Time and Effort
The Scotts 2000-20 Classic Push Reel Lawnmower features a wider-than-average 20-inch cutting width that reduces time and effort on your part. A wide 20-inch cutting path will reduce the number of passes required to cut your lawn, so you will get the job done more quickly and more efficiently.
Quick-Snap Height Adjusters Mean Easy Custom Control
Get complete control over the height of your lawn. The easy-to-use quick-snap height adjusters provide fingertip control over your blade height for precision cuts. Adjustable from one to three inches, they easily fit into nine different height slots and stay securely locked in place thanks to quick-snap technology.
Precision Blade Technology and Ball Bearing Reel
The five-spider, five-blade reel features five heat-treated steel blades for accurate cuts every time. Designed with smooth ball bearings, the blades spin efficiently as you push the mower. Each blade slices through grass with extreme precision, leaving behind fine mulch, which is essential for a healthy lawn. The five-blade cutting action is designed to provide precision performance over the life of the mower, and its tough, heavy-duty steel design is built to last.
Dual Wheel Tracking for Maneuverability
The Scotts Classic Push Reel Lawnmower features two 10-inch composite wheels with radial tires plus two six-inch tracking wheels for added maneuverability. This innovative dual wheel tracking technology eliminates drag and makes it easier to push the Scotts 2000-20 mower over even the toughest terrain. The loop-style handle with foam grip provides added comfort during operation and also enhances the mower's maneuverability.
The Scotts 2000-20 20-Inch Classic Push Reel Lawnmower weighs approximately 34 pounds (shipping weight) and is backed by a two-year warranty.

| I read many reviews on this mower and did my research before buying it. The mower finally arrived and could not wait to test it out. Very quick and easy to assemble. The only tools needed to assemble it where pliers and the other tool is already included in the box. Maybe 20 minutes if you read the step by step directions to assemble it. It is not too heavy; its easier to carry with both hands. I set the mower at the low level to see if it cut as advertised and surprise it did! Just to see how good it works i waited to mow my lawn so I had it maybe 3-4 inches high. It mows just like a motor power maybe, quality that is. I did not need to go over the same spot more than once. Very easy to use and handle (just don't wait for you lawn to grow too much, it does cut anything that is probably more than 6 inches). It is clean! I did not feel like I was choking with fumes when mowing (no gas!). It is quiet! It did not wake my toddler during her nap. Great exercise! I broke a good sweat (remember, I had not mowed for a while). It is fun! I ran sometimes when pushing :). I do not regret my purchase yet (again, only first time using). The only bad experience I had was this was a replacement order; the first time I received it it was broken! The box does not offer much protection for the mower ( I had the replacement shipped overnight). Other than that, I cant wait to use it again. |

| The mower works great! I have a small lawn and no need for a gas-elec mower and I decided on this mower. I have to say I am very pleased. |
| Love it within it's design limits | 2010-07-25 | 5 / 5 |
|
| As stated I love it. I pick it up, carry it out and start mowing. When I am done I hose it off, let it dry a bit and carry it back in the garage. The cuttings are small enough to leave down. Not to mention saving over 40 bucks(not including the free shipping from ) over buying it local. I do not have a large yard, about. 5300 square feet give or take, broken up some by walk, driveway and front/back yard of course. At my job (road mechanic for a construction equipment rental chain) I deal with engines from 2 cycle up to 6 cylinder diesels so when I get home another engine is that last thing I want to see. No gas, no plugs. no fuss. As others have said keep in mind it's design limits, the type of grass you have ( I have bermuda - works great) and not for taller grass, will just roll over it so it sort of helps you to stay up with the lawn. Not any harder to push than an engine mower. was easy to put together, (just mounting the handle) bit of an odd smell (paint?) first out of the box but that fades. It free wheels when you flip the handle over for quicker non-mowing movement. I am not a "green" freak by no means but am glad to do a little bit by using this mower. And unless you are a "reel" (sorry) marathoner I would have second thoughts on using it for a large yard. It meets my needs just great and I think my neighbors are a slight bit annoyed over the ease and speed I do my lawn. Have only had it for a few months but love it so far. |
| Not such a great idea | 2010-07-22 | 1 / 5 |

| I bought this mower thinking it would be great for the environment, economical and fun. I used the previous reviews as a guide and went for the purchase. Big mistake. If your grass is even a bit high, you can't push the mower. We tried adjusting the settings, but that didn't really help. Either the mower is too hard to push, or the settings are too loose and the mower won't mow. And, forget about pushing it up hill, which means if you live on a slope, you have to push the mower downhill, drag it up to the top, and push it down again. Not fun. The handle is too low, which makes it difficult to keep the wheels on the ground and the tray gets clogged, constantly stopping the blade from turning. This is probably the worst $99 dollars I've ever spent. I won't even try to sell it at a yard sale because I'd be ripping off the person who was attempting to buy it. For now, this mower is only good for decorating my garage. |
| A good alternative | 2010-07-22 | 4 / 5 |

| Bought the Scotts 2000 reel mower because I have a fairly small yard and decided to see if a reel mower would save me the hassle of fuel/oil for a power mower. The answer is yes. Its not perfect in that it will sometimes leave a few blades of grass uncut even after several passes, but if coupled with a trimmer, its more than satisfactory. |
