Whether mounted indoors or outdoors, this 18-inch round analog wall clock reports the time, temperature, and humidity at a glance. This clock's claim to fame is its precision time-keeping and the fact that it never needs to be set. A built-in antenna system receives signals from the WWVB radio transmitter in Fort Collins, Colorado, which is in turn regulated by the atomic clock. Once you install the battery and choose one of four U.S. time zones, the clock automatically sets to the accurate time in hours, minutes, and secods, and continues to adjust itself six times daily. This low-maintenance clock even automatically adjusts for daylight savings time, so you never need to remember to spring ahead or fall back. As an additional perk, the clock features in the lower left area of the face a hygrometer that measures the percentage of relative humidity in the air. The lower right has an analog thermometer that reports the temperature in both Celsius and Fahrenheit. This radio-controlled clock is covered by a 1-year warranty and runs on one AA battery (not included).

My area recently suffered a 2-week heavy storm. When the storm came to a short break, I found our La Crosse outdoor clock hanging on our patio wall had fallen to the concrete block floor. The glass was not broken but water had penetrated and the minute hand had come off, and it was no longer working.
Transferring the poor clock to our garage workbench, I carefully disassembled the clock and removed moisture, then restored the minute hand. I replaced the battery with a fresh one, and then, believe or not, the clock reset itself to the starting position (12:00) and later started ticking correct time. Although the outer metal frame had a few minor dents, the clock was absolutely ready to be used again.
Bottom line is, the front glass is installed with a rubber seal, but it did not work well. On the other hand, the screw-in battery/movement compartment cover did its job greatly. Anyway, I love my clock! |

We bought this clock for our outside deck. Generally, it works very well, although sometimes it searches for the correct time during the late afternoon/early evening for 30-45 minutes. It does this whether the clock is outside or inside, but it does not seem to do it every day. It is a bit frustrating while it is doing this searching, though, because you don't know what time it really is.
The clock is very easy to read, even from far distances, especially because the numbers are nicely sized. I wish the thermometer part was easier to read.
We discovered after we received the clock that it should be used outside only when the temperature is above 40 and that it should be protected from the elements. I do wish the description would have included that information before we bought it, as we might not have purchased it. We live in Michigan and plan to have the clock outside during the entire year. We've decided to try it and see what happens. |

| We love the atomic clocks since we don't have to reset them when the time changes. We purchased this one for our outside patio, it looks great and we're very happy with it. Even though it is an outdoor clock, we will take it inside for the winter. |

| This clock is perfect. I thought that i had everything, but boy was i wrong. I didn't have a clock that was accurate! I mean, come on how can you live with an ordinary clock or wrist watch? I need to know that i am on time every time. I no longer have disputes with my boss about how i was five seconds late, because now i bring my atomic clock with me everywhere. If he b**ches, i just throw the clock at him. Now 47.7% of the time i am always on time! |
